Agata
In the agate family we find: agate, dendritic agate, moss agate, or zoned agate. Agate has a hardness of 6.5/7 on the Moshs scale. The colors of agates are those of the constituent chalcedonies: white, bluish-gray, green-gray, yellow-brown, brown, red-brown. In addition to its use in jewelry (necklace balls, cabochon), cameos and intaglios, agate is often shaped into cuts.
And remember, all stones are fragile! Even diamonds....
