The company was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany.
Located in Manhattan, the company sold luxury goods before specializing in diamonds.
In 1887, Charles Lewis bought part of the french crown jewels sold by the French Republic. He is then nicknamed The King Diamonds.
Over the years, the brand has forged its reputation and has become the symbol of New York elegance.
Today the store is located on the Fifth Avenue.
In 1851, the brand was the first American jewelry to use silver with a purity of 925/000th.
The Tiffany style is recognizable and quite somber. The brand is specialized in wedding jewelry. The best sellers of the house are the engagement rings or the alliances, widely copied around the world.
The brand image is still very much linked to the image of Audrey Hepburn, famous thanks to Breakfast at Tiffany’s movie.
